Coinbase To Start Supporting 17 Digital Assets Including Telegram


United State-based cryptocurrency exchange and wallet provider, Coinbase has announced it will support 17 digital assets including Telegram.

Coinbase now supports 17 digital assets

Coinbase made the announcement on Sept. 19 that it plan to support new assets that meet their technical standards and will comply with all laws. The assets include; Telegram, Celo, Dfinity, Filecoin, Chia, Coda, Handshake, NEAR, Nervos, Oasis, Orchid, Avalanche, Polkadot, Kadena, Mobilecoin, Solana and Spacemesh.

Coinbase reveals it intends customers to have access to 90% of the aggregate market cap of all digital assets. Adding that they will explore assets that have not launched which they may choose to support in the future.

The firm emphasized that any asset its support "requires significant technical and compliance review" which could "be subject to regulatory approval in some jurisdiction." adding that:

"We therefore cannot guarantee whether or when any above listed asset will be listed on a Coinbase product in any jurisdiction" - “We will add new assets on a jurisdiction by jurisdiction basis, subject to applicable review and authorizations.”

Coinbase Pro added support for DASH trading

Last week, Conbase Pro announced it will support DASH starting this week. As at then the firm says that DASH will be established on the platform once there is sufficient supply , trading on the DASH/USD, and DASH/BTC.
